Arrived in Hamburg last night, easy flight, bouncy landing, a longer than the actual flight bus ride to the city. Actually landed in Lubeck. Ryan Air. Not much news, it was late, very tired, with luggage. McDonalds. Hadn't been to McDonalds in ages so the belly grumbled a bit in the harsh aftermath. But I have to admit I had never had McDoanlds in Germany before and in terms of localized menues this one beat the one back in the UK 3-1 with the wedges heading in the winning goal and you can smoke in McDonalds here. From today back to real food.
Saw a few Swedes with yellow curls and flag. The Swedes sure love their 2-2s...
Lots of Germans, no duh, lots of happy, flag-waving and singing Germans. Two Italians, but we play Thursday. Arentina VS Holland the higlight of today.
Franziska's directions were incredible, descriptive of every step of the way, no detail left out. Street Map, Google Map, both would pale infront of these directions. We got to the house very easily. Despite Ding: Once on the road to which we were heading, 1 block away: "oh yeah this is it, it's all coming back now". I was hoping he meant the McNuggets too.
But Ding knows everything. The WiFi Real Media Magician (WFRMM). Now he has also given a grand example of his counting abilities placing the numbers 2 and 1 in the correct order. Sorry Ding, I shall be serious from now onwards. Je Promis.
I am very nervous. We better beat the Czechs and Nedved better not dive. It's a bit cloudy, but warm. Green and grey from the window. Hoping in the sun. Soon!
